Kingdom of Gaming, a new Saudi government-backed games industry event, has been pushed from its December 1-3 dates in Riyadh to an unspecified date in 2027, with its website and social accounts quietly updated to "Coming in 2027" and no public explanation. The event, organized by Tahaluf — a joint venture between Informa and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones — had promised more than 20,000 attendees, 500 studios and 200 investors, with Ubisoft and Roblox among the companies on its line-up. Informa said in an October 27 trading update that escalating disruption in Saudi Arabia had forced it to reschedule further events and that it now assumes no further revenue in the country this year.
