Former Marathon game director Joe Ziegler said leading Bungie's extraction shooter involved "a lot of disagreements across the place," and his role was helping the team find a cohesive direction. He has since left Bungie and is working on a new, unrevealed project after previously serving as game director on Riot's Valorant. He also noted playing Path of Exile for 3,437 hours and said he will never uninstall Kingdom Hearts.
