Community-Led Etiquette: Player Seeks Examples for Class Project

A player is asking for examples of community-led etiquette in games for a video games research class project, focusing on etiquette that formed spontaneously outside of designer intent. Examples given include World of Warcraft players taking turns at mining nodes when arriving at the same time, and players queuing up to kill the NPC Hogger. The poster welcomes examples from any game.
