Microsoft reported first-quarter earnings for its new fiscal year, the first near-full quarter since Xbox head Asha Sharma announced "the most significant restructure in Xbox history." Xbox content and services revenue fell 2 percent, while hardware revenue dropped 14 percent year-over-year. Operating expenses in the Devices and Consumer division fell 3 percent driven by Xbox, offset by continued investments in R&D compute capacity and talent.
