Balanced runs upscaled 4K at 40 FPS with a 120Hz VRR TV, Performance runs upscaled 2K at a near-locked 60 FPS, and Quality runs native 4K at 30 FPS. Ray tracing on PS5 Pro showed no performance changes in testing.
