   Bethesda's first full-time QA tester got the job by being an extremely chill hang

   Bethesda Game Studios design director Alan Nanes recalled that he became one of the studio's first full-time QA testers after hanging out with developers during Morrowind's development and being noticed by Todd Howard. He later moved into quest design on Oblivion and served as lead companions designer on Starfield. The story comes as Bethesda celebrates its 40th anniversary and reveals the full name of The Elder Scrolls 6: Sentinel.
