Touch Music Weird Talk: Playing a Romance LARP, a Dad Falls From the Sky

The author joined a friend over the holiday to try a romance companion LARP, playing the second daughter of the Xu family on a "dad route" opposite an actor playing her father. The script has her aspiring to office while her father ties them together with a rope, and at the climax he orders her away and dies, followed by a small-room scene where she writes his obituary. The session ran until 2 a.m. and cost 300 yuan, and the author kept thinking about it for three days afterward.
