   Circana data shows Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 had a lower share of active US players at launch than Black Ops 7

   Circana analyst Mat Piscatella's data shows 19 percent of PlayStation players played Modern Warfare 4 in the week ending 24th October, versus 17 percent on Xbox and 4.2 percent on Steam, compared with 23, 29 and 1.5 percent for Black Ops 7's launch week. The figures come from Circana's Player Engagement Tracker, covering the US on Steam and PlayStation and worldwide on Xbox. The piece suggests the large Xbox drop may relate to Modern Warfare 4 not launching on Game Pass day one.
