Fans Can’t Believe Walmart Canceled Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Switch 2 Pre-Orders the Day Before They Were Meant to Arrive

Multiple buyers who pre-ordered the Legend of Zelda-themed Switch 2 console through Walmart received emails a day before the expected delivery saying their orders were canceled due to being “out of stock.” Customer service representatives said Walmart oversold pre-orders, and one affected buyer on Reddit called it an unethical sales practice. The console is now listed as out of stock on the site at $700, nearly $200 more than the bundle’s original pre-order price.
