   Link's Ocarina Playing in the Remake Is Accurate Enough to Learn From

   In the Ocarina 2026 remake, Link's ocarina finger movements are accurate enough that players could use them to learn the instrument, according to Eric Bernard, manager of Songbird Ocarina. He said Link plays each song in the same key signature as the original game, with fingering patterns surprisingly accurate apart from one exception caused by the real instrument's limited range. A standard 12-hole alto C ocarina spans A4 to F6, so some songs' notes exceed what the instrument can reach.
