TGA公布2026评奖截止日 GTA 6压线入围

GTA VI is eligible for this year's Game Awards because the ceremony's official cutoff is November 20, 2026 at 9 PM PT, and the game is scheduled to launch one day earlier on November 19. That date was not set specifically for GTA, as the Friday before Thanksgiving has routinely been the TGA nominations cutoff, with last year's cutoff on November 21 and 2024's on November 22. The last Rockstar project eligible for The Game Awards was Red Dead Redemption II in 2018, which earned 10 nominations and four wins but not Game of the Year.

The Game Awards' release date cutoff for this year's voting is the 20th November, and GTA 6 launches on the 19th November, just one day earlier, making it eligible. The detail sparked an outcry on social media and ResetEra suggesting the goalposts were moved for GTA 6, though the cutoff was the 21st November in 2025 and the 22nd November in 2024.

The Game Awards' FAQ confirms games must be released on or before Friday, November 20, 2026, to be eligible, and GTA 6's current release date of November 19, 2026 clears that cutoff by just one day. The Players' Voice category has a November 30, 2026 cutoff. Nominations for this year's awards have not yet been announced.
