Modern Warfare 4's new 6v6 map Backstab, arriving November 6, is a remake of Burgundy, a map first seen in Call of Duty 2 in 2005. The layouts are near 1:1, though the theming has changed to a snowy setting. Rather than remaking popular maps like Nuketown and Shipment, Infinity Ward is refreshing a relatively obscure older map for a new audience.
