Report finds 94% of studios use AI, but more than half say it isn't deeply embedded into production

A newly published VAIA Report from consultancy Vivrato found that 97% of the 101 studio leaders interviewed said they have used AI in some form, and 94% said it is used in at least one of nine production stages. However, 52% rated how deeply AI is built into their production pipeline at 3 or lower out of 10. The study also found deeper adoption among European studios, with 70% saying AI is used in art, assets and animation versus 53% in North America.
