FF7 Revelation demo opening: first look at Cid and Vincent's combat

The author played the first 25 minutes of the FF7 Revelation demo, controlling new party members Cid Highwind and Vincent Valentine. Vincent switches between a long-range human form and a close-range Galian Beast form, though the beast form drains his HP and the author found it hard to balance both in the short demo. His human form has the charged shot Blood Moon and the multi-shot Reckoning, while the beast's Damnation is a leaping multi-hit spin attack.

After Playing Final Fantasy VII Revelation, I'm Convinced Square Saved Some Of The Best Stuff For Last

A demo of Final Fantasy VII Revelation shows Cid Highwind and Vincent Valentine as playable characters for the first time in the Remake trilogy, with Cid's mobile Dragoon spearplay and Vincent's Galian Beast transformation standing out. The game adds a FITS system that equips job-based abilities on any character, letting Cloud summon Shiva and Titan as a Summoner. The author found Cid and Vincent more engaging than the previous roster but worries mini-game bloat could get in the way.
