   Nintendo's Inventory Levels Hit Record High as RAM Crisis Continues

   Nintendo reported 814.57 billion yen (about $5.14 billion) in inventory as of September 30 in its FY2026/27 second-quarter financial report, up from 539.8 billion yen the previous quarter and a new record for the company. The buildup comes as manufacturers navigate the global RAM shortage and try to avoid or delay further price increases. Nintendo's research and development costs rose 16.8% to 96.2 billion yen this quarter.
