   Final Fantasy 14 Evercold launches 23 February 2027, second new job zephyr revealed

   Final Fantasy 14's next expansion Evercold will launch on 23 February 2027, with zephyr as its second new job, a physical ranged DPS fighting with a crossbow and a bird. Producer Naoki Yoshida revealed it at the Tokyo Fan Festival 2026 keynote, alongside Bastion from the Berlin event. Pre-orders for Evercold and the Collector's Box open on 4 November at 9am GMT with early access, a Wind-Up Köttr minion and Halone's Earring, and Square Enix confirmed the game has passed 35 million registered accounts.

   Final Fantasy XIV Evercold reveals Zephyr, a pet-using physical ranged DPS

   Square Enix announced Zephyr, the second new job for Final Fantasy XIV Evercold, at the Tokyo Fan Fest. It is a physical ranged DPS that uses a magic bird as a pet, the first job with a pet since Summoner's kit changed in 2017's Stormblood. The last physical ranged job was Dancer in 2019's Shadowbringers.
