ArenaNet announced Guild Wars Afterlife, the second true expansion for the original Guild Wars after 2007's Eye of the North, launching January 13, 2027 on PC, Steam, the App Store, and Google Play. It takes players out of Tyria into the Mists to explore Xotecha, where the Unformed dungeon changes every run and a skill-drafting mechanic lets players adjust abilities on the fly. It costs $30 at full price with a $24 pre-order discount and requires the 2025 re-release Guild Wars Reforged.
