In the Age of AI, One Man Spent Years Squeezing an Entire Museum onto a Game Boy - Why? For the Most Human of Reasons

Dr Marcel Pflug spent several years of evenings and weekends fitting the Game Boy Museum - an archive of peripherals, hardware history and hundreds of articles - onto a real Game Boy cartridge, with a free ROM available to download and burn yourself. The Game Boy's 255-block screen made text and QR code display a struggle, but the result is a searchable encyclopedia of Nintendo's handheld. Pflug calls it a homage to the machine, keeping the knowledge on the Game Boy itself.
