The official October 2026 Xbox console update began rolling out on October 28 with 10 new features, including Mythic Achievements awarded for completing all original achievements in a game. It also adds startup animation choices, local save viewing and deletion, Remote Play streaming up to 1440p, Home list customization and local search, plus fixes for Home refreshing, black-screen boot and downloads pausing unexpectedly. Users can install it manually via Settings and System updates or wait for the automatic rollout.
