   A World of Warcraft: Forever player is building a first-person mod called Retro Forever that turns Blizzard's new MMO into a Morrowind-esque retro fantasy RPG, with no generative AI involved. Modder Arhkain has published two dev vlogs for the project, which uses assets pulled and modified from games like Morrowind and Hexen and includes a custom UI plus animations tied to specific spells and abilities. The mod isn't publicly available yet and currently only works with a selection of mage spells and other class abilities, though an artist has expressed interest in joining for original asset creation. World of Warcraft: Forever releases this Wednesday, 4th November.
