   Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II Didn't Canonize Any Cyberpunk 2077 Ending

   Showrunner Bartosz Sztybor said Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II has no intention of canonizing or invalidating any of Cyberpunk 2077's potential endings. He dismissed fan speculation that a "default" female V appears in an Arasaka database scene, saying the show only offers suggestions about the post-game world. The only firm post-game canon, he said, is that Arasaka is weakened.

   Edgerunners writer, producer, and showrunner Bartosz Sztybor said the apparent female V image in Season 2's data archive scene is "left for interpretation." He said there were many conversations with the lore team about satisfying all of Cyberpunk 2077's endings, but the team does not want to set a canon ending; the one firm post-game canon point is that Arasaka is weakened. Asked about a potential Season 3, Sztybor said he was already thinking about other seasons and stories while writing Season 1.
