Stranger Than Heaven Skips Last-Gen, Letting RGG Studio Fully Leverage Current-Gen Consoles

RGG Studio producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto confirmed that Stranger Than Heaven is being developed solely for current-gen hardware, dropping previous-gen platforms like the PS4 to focus on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. He said this let the team show more characters on screen simultaneously than ever before and raise character quality, without hardware-based compromises. The game is set for release on January 15, 2027.
