    Mixtape Wins Game of the Year at the 2026 Australian Game Developer Awards

    Melbourne-based studio Beethoven & Dinosaur won Game of the Year at the 2026 Australian Game Developer Awards for its music-themed adventure game Mixtape, which also took Excellence in Visual Art and Excellence in Sound Design. Other winners included Tempo Lab Games' rhythm game Bits & Bops for Excellence in Gameplay and Excellence in Accessibility, and Abandoned Sheep's puzzle platformer Schrodinger's Cat Burglar for Excellence in Narrative. Canberra-based Uppercut Games was named Studio of the Year.
