Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 Producer Explains Roman's Backstory

Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 showrunner, writer and producer Bartosz Sztybor said Roman's lack of backstory is a deliberate artistic choice, and promised the Cyberpunk franchise will never show his past. He revealed early script drafts gave Roman's father more dialogue, but that provided too much backstory. Roman, a retro-film-loving cinephile kid, was designed as the thread connecting all the characters; the season is out now exclusively on Netflix.
