Why the sex scene is one of the best parts of GTA 6's new trailer

Rockstar released a new Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer this morning that includes the first glimpse of a sex scene between co-leads Jason and Lucia, shown in three shots lit mainly by what looks like a sunset outside the bathroom window, with the third revealing Lucia's house arrest ankle monitor. The author argues the depiction is more intimate than the series' usual approach, which has often implied sex or played it for humor, such as the San Andreas Hot Coffee content and Trevor's introduction in GTA 5. Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, and there are reports a PC version may not be too far off.
