Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Cai Actor Was 'Deeply Afraid' of the Audience's Reaction

Zeno Robinson, who voices Cai in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, said he didn't know Cai was one of the game's four protagonists until recording began and was "deeply afraid" players would find the character boring. He previously voiced Fogado in Fire Emblem Engage and Ross in Fire Emblem Heroes. Robinson said he worked to make Cai more relatable and multifaceted than a typical shonen protagonist, and that fans have told him Cai's story about his father resonated with them.
