Grasshopper Manufacture splits from NetEase Games

Grasshopper Manufacture announced it has split from former parent company NetEase Games and is once again an independent developer. NetEase Games had acquired the studio from GungHo Online Entertainment in 2021. Representative director and CEO Goichi Suda said the decision followed thorough discussions with NetEase Games and their cooperation, after the studio released ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN this past February.
