SYBO CEO Mathias Gredal Nørvig said Subway Surfers is approaching its 15th anniversary with 4.8 to 4.9 billion downloads and 100 to 150 million monthly active users, achieved with essentially no user acquisition spending. He said about 90% of the game's revenue comes from ads, while Subway Surfers City, launched over six months ago, has reached 40 to 50 million downloads and is positioned as a deeper experience for hardcore players rather than a sequel.
