Rain98 is a blue-hued, pre-Y2K, Serial Experiments Lain inspired visual novel about time travelling to the past to end the world

A demo is available for Rain98, a blue-tinted visual novel set in Tokyo, 1998, in which a troubled nameless man travels back in time and strikes a deal with a young woman calling herself the Angolmois to end the world. The game draws on Serial Experiments Lain and other Heisei-era works, and its demo runs about an hour of a roughly three-hour total. Its Steam page promises a release by the end of the year.
