Marathon Game Director Reassures Fans Extraction Mode Isn't Going Anywhere

Marathon game director Del Chafe said on the Marathon Development Team Twitter account that Extraction remains a major part of the game and will continue to receive updates. The reassurance followed Bungie's roadmap reveal for PvE and experimental PvP modes coming in the December Symbiosis update, which raised fears the hardcore extraction mode would be neglected. Chafe also asked players for feedback on Extraction, with streamers citing spawn rushes and harsh death spirals as key issues.
