Beat Saber announces its biggest update yet with hand-tracking and a bare-handed Flux mode

Beat Saber has announced its biggest update yet, arriving in Spring 2027, adding a new bare-handed mode called Flux in which players punch, prod and slap notes instead of using sabers. Flux launches with 35 songs and showcases the update's new hand-tracking, which also works with the traditional saber modes. The campaign is being refreshed with new missions, checkpoints and a light narrative element, alongside a progression system for unlocking saber, beat and bomb cosmetics.
