Rockstar senior vice president of narrative Rupert Humphries explained why GTA 6 builds its own fictional world instead of satirising real-world political events. He said the game's long development means copying reality would feel dated, so it must be more over the top, more insane and more in your face. GTA 6 arrives 19th November.
