Microsoft's proposed Ninja Theory closure moves into layoffs

VGC and journalist Chris Kerr report that layoffs have begun at Ninja Theory as Microsoft moves forward with a proposed closure. Microsoft said last month, in its second wave of job cuts, that it could not find a path forward for the studio and had started a consultation process with employees. Gameplay programmer Katrin Mair said it is sad not to finish what the team was working on, four months after the studio revealed its new game Senua at the Xbox Showcase.
