Review: The Witch's Bakery (Switch 2) – A Cosy Narrative Sim That Rises To The Occasion

French developer Sunny Lab and publisher Silver Lining Interactive's narrative adventure sim The Witch's Bakery is out on Switch 2. Players run the Le Croissant de Lunne patisserie as young witch Lunne, managing the bakery by day, exploring Paris by evening, and practising magic by night while helping customers overcome anger, sadness and fear through maze minigames. The game earns praise for its mental health focus and inclusive cast, but falls short on accessibility settings and some clunky Switch 2 controls.
