Xbox Appears to Be Dropping Security Seals From New Physical Releases

Several recent Xbox physical releases appear to be shipping without security seals, which North American independent distributor VGP Video Games Plus describes as a new "packing initiative" rather than a security lapse. Games including Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, Planet Zoo 2, and Dragon's Dogma II: Dark Arisen seem to lack the seal, while users also cite Valor Mortis, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Castlevania: Belmont's Curse. One post still shows a Konami release with its Xbox security seal attached, and the initiative appears to be in its early days.
