Review: Hellraiser: Revival (PS5) - Faithful Adaptation Let Down by Severe Gameplay Woes

Push Square's review says Hellraiser: Revival is a faithful adaptation of Clive Barker's horror series, with brutal gore and recreations of film elements, but its gameplay is a frustrating mixed bag. The roughly eight-hour campaign suffers from a severe lack of resources, leaving players short on ammo and health packs, while melee weapons have limited durability and repairs only partially fix them. Boss fights are among the most frustratingly designed, and even in performance mode on PS5 and PS5 Pro there are frame rate dips when transitioning between areas.
