Microsoft's The Coalition largely survives wide-ranging Xbox layoffs

The Coalition, the Microsoft-owned studio behind Gears of War: E-Day, Gears 4 and Gears 5, has largely survived the wide-ranging cuts and layoffs at Xbox. The layoffs were initiated by Xbox CEO Asha Sharma in an attempt to bring the gaming division back to profitability.
