Kotaro Uchikoshi said in a Famitsu interview that he is a proponent of AI and believes the canceled game at his new studio Crash Keys might not have been canceled if he had been allowed to use AI to cut costs and development time. He argued that mid-sized teams making adventure games now struggle to compete with small AI-using teams, and that AI can handle repetitive refinement work so a final product gets closer to the creator's vision.
