Control Resonant Review – Fun, Frustration, And Fun Again

Game Informer's review of Control Resonant says the sequel keeps the best traits of Control, with new protagonist Dylan Faden stepping in for his sister Jesse in a distorted Manhattan. It praises the transforming Aberrant weapon and perfect dodge, but notes that enemies level alongside the player and respawn until larger foes fall, turning some fights into wars of attrition. The reviewer says the world and story kept drawing him back even after the credits rolled.
