The Witcher 3 Remastered review: a generous free upgrade that doesn't change the game

Eurogamer's Robert Purchese reviewed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered, calling it a free upgrade to an 11-year-old game with improved visuals, lighting, reworked skill trees and new combat animations. He said it does not fundamentally change the game and does not overhaul combat, though it adds transmogrification, cross-platform mod support and new accessibility options. He described it as preparation for the Songs of the Past expansion.
