According to a VGC report, Ubisoft plans to shut down RedLynx, the creator of the Trials series, and cut staff at Ubisoft Singapore, the studio behind Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. The closure proposal could affect around 52 people at RedLynx, while Ubisoft Singapore may lose about 70 people; RedLynx is based in Finland, where Ubisoft must negotiate the proposal with employees under local labour law. Ubisoft had previously cut staff at RedLynx in October 2025 and told the studio to focus on mobile projects, and the company has not yet commented on the report.
