Gears Of War: E-Day’s Campaign Is Buried In The Past
Brief
GameSpot's assessment finds that Gears of War: E-Day's campaign fails to recontextualize what came before, unlike prequels such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Yakuza 0. The game retains its third-person, cover-based shooting with some new additions, but the story offers no surprises and doesn't reach greatness.
