I've added scams to GTA 5, but I might have scammed myself

As part of a daily quest to turn GTA 5 into a PC version of GTA 6, I installed the ScamV mod, which promises to turn Los Santos into a digital playground where you play a cyber-criminal using cloned cards and exploits. In practice it mostly just gave Franklin a duffel bag. Trying to pay a bank teller with fake cheques only gets the message "You don't have any fake cheques," with no hint on how to get them.
