Nagoshi Studio officially dissolved on October 31

Nagoshi Studio was officially dissolved by a shareholders' resolution on October 31, according to a notice in Japan's government gazette Kanpo. The studio, founded by Yakuza creator Toshiro Nagoshi under NetEase Games in November 2021, announced the Kabukicho-set action adventure game GANG OF DRAGON in December 2025. In March 2026, Bloomberg reported that NetEase planned to cut funding from the studio in May and that it had the option to go independent if it could pay its way out.
