The Elder Scrolls Online is partly why Skyrim never got a Fallout: New Vegas-style spin-off, says Bethesda veteran

Bethesda veteran Kurt Kuhlmann says The Elder Scrolls Online is partly why Skyrim never got a Fallout: New Vegas-style spin-off, since the MMORPG kept Elder Scrolls fans occupied with ongoing new content. He added that the rivalry sparked by New Vegas made Todd Howard protective of The Elder Scrolls series. Obsidian has since been confirmed to be working on a new Fallout game with Bethesda.
