Warning to Dog Lovers: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's Extraction Mode Has a Rough Intro

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's new DMZ extraction mode launched a few days early for players who digitally pre-ordered the game, and its intro mission is rough for dog lovers. The scripted opening sees the player's dog companion Rex get shot after killing two North Korean soldiers, before the player character is captured and shot in the head, leaving Rex to bleed out. Players have yet to unlock their own dog, and some suggest exiting the intro once you gain control of the soldier to skip it without losing any loot.
