French outlet Le Monde reported that Microsoft has told Arkane Lyon it faces closure and must find a buyer by 13th November under French law, with 217 jobs at risk. Unions said redundancy talks are going badly and are seeking more time, while Microsoft said it continues to explore options within the French consultation process. Internal documents reportedly schedule the shutdown to begin at the end of 2026 and run through the first quarter of 2027, leaving the fate of Marvel's Blade unclear.
