Among Us VR co-developer Schell Games announces second layoff round this year

Schell Games announced a second round of layoffs this year, saying difficult industry conditions made it necessary to cut a significant number of employees to secure a sustainable future. The studio did not disclose how many people were affected; roles included engineering, art and design, sound, marketing, IT support, research and QA. The Pittsburgh developer is known for the I Expect You To Die VR puzzle series and co-developing Among Us VR, and previously laid off staff in August, its first reduction since founding in 2002.
