Auroch Digital lays off about a quarter of its staff

Auroch Digital said in a LinkedIn statement that it has begun a redundancy consultation affecting around a quarter of roles at the studio. It cited the same market conditions that have challenged other developers despite releasing Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 and Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! over the past year. The Bristol-based studio was acquired by Sumo Group for $8.3m in 2021 and lists 51 to 200 employees on LinkedIn.
