Internal Mass Effect: Universe trailer leaks, showing returning characters and in-engine footage

An internal BioWare trailer for Mass Effect 5 leaked online and IGN has verified it as legitimate; it carries the title Mass Effect: Universe. The trailer is labeled in-engine footage from a small team using pre-production assets and shows weapons, powers, alien species, a Mass Effect relay, a ship galaxy map, and an older Liara T'Soni helping the player in a bar fight. It surfaced a day after EA canceled the game and closed BioWare, where Bloomberg reported around 50 staff were working on it, as part of 400 job cuts across EA.
